Asortie Furniture in Iraq’s Rising Trade Hub: Erbil
Erbil, which has become one of the most important trade and investment centers in the Middle East, has emerged as a hub of attraction with its rapid development in the construction, tourism, and retail sectors. The growing number of residential, hotel, and office projects, the shift in luxury consumption habits, and the rising interest in international brands are increasing the demand for high-quality and unique designs every day. Erbil is now a focal point where modern architecture meets luxury decoration, drawing the attention of the business world as well.
Although there is local furniture production in Iraq, international brands gain significant opportunities thanks to their design diversity, quality, and project-based custom production capabilities. Turkish furniture manufacturers hold a strong position in the Iraqi market with their balance of quality and price, design power, and fast production capacity.
The Trade Forum organized by USIAD in Erbil between August 24–27, 2025, served as a key platform showcasing this potential. As Asortie Furniture, we participated in this fair to strengthen our presence in the Iraqi market and establish direct connections with local business representatives. With a meticulous preparation process, our original collections and project samples received great appreciation at the event.
Export Goal: A Strong Presence in the Middle East
Exporting luxury and classical furniture to 56 different countries, Asortie Furniture aims to further strengthen its presence in the Middle East, with Iraq playing a central role. Our participation in the Erbil Trade Forum not only allowed us to showcase our products but also paved the way for new collaborations through nearly 120 B2B meetings we conducted.
Having closely followed the Iraqi market for a long time, Asortie Furniture possesses significant expertise in delivering high-quality and prestigious furniture solutions for hotels, restaurants, villas, government institutions, and public projects. The collections we showcased at the forum received full marks from visitors, and with our custom production approach, we took strategic steps toward project-based partnerships.
Store Negotiations at the Turkish Trade Center
Our team at the fair also held meetings regarding participation in the planned Turkish Trade Center project in Erbil. Opening an Asortie store in this center would be a strategic step to make our presence in the Iraqi market permanent.
Meetings with local construction companies, architectural offices, renowned interior designers, and project owners once again confirmed that Asortie Furniture’s classical and luxury style appeals to the region. Being among the most requested companies for meetings at the fair proved that we are following the right strategy.
In Erbil, the New Name of Luxury and Elegance: ASORTIE
The strong interest we received at the Erbil Trade Forum provided significant motivation in our goal of strengthening our position in the region. Many of our visitors expressed their trust in our brand by encouraging us to open a permanent showroom or store in Erbil.
After our projects in Africa — including Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Botswana, Malawi, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and South Africa — and in the Middle East — including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan — we now aim to leave a lasting mark in Erbil, the rising center of the Middle East.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the visitors who met with us at this event, the esteemed representatives of the business world, and everyone who contributed to the organization.
