Expanding Our Share in the African Market Through the Cameroon Fair
As one of Africa’s leading luxury furniture brands exporting from Türkiye to the world, Asortie Mobilya took part in the trade fair held on July 3, 2025, at Kristal Palace Hotel in Douala, Cameroon, establishing significant business connections during the event.
Representing our brand, Mr. Ozan ODAK and Mr. Wahabou ATCHADE from Asortie’s international trade team attended the forum, engaging in productive meetings with investors, hotel owners, project developers, businesspeople, and distributors from Cameroon and other West African countries.
Our unique, handcrafted luxury furniture collections—already present in presidential palaces, luxury hotels, distinguished villas, and large-scale projects worldwide—attracted great interest during the forum in Douala. Before and after the event, we strengthened our brand visibility in the region through one-on-one meetings with partners, showroom presentations, and project discussions.
Growing Interest in Luxury Furniture in Cameroon
Cameroon, one of Africa’s emerging markets, is drawing attention with its increasing number of residential projects, construction activities, hotel investments, and villa developments. In this context, Asortie Mobilya conducted on-site meetings to expand our project-based work in the region and to meet the growing interest in our classic luxury furniture for hotels and villas.
Participants we met during the forum included hotel chains, restaurant owners, investors, contractors, architects, and villa project developers. During meetings led by Wahabou ATCHADE and Ozan Odak, Asortie’s classic, art deco, and modern luxury collections were showcased while explaining our bespoke production advantages for projects. Our product catalogs, digital project samples, and AR-powered virtual showroom experiences also attracted significant attention at the fair.
Offering More Than Just Furniture: Complete Project Solutions
At Asortie Mobilya, we do more than produce luxury furniture; we also provide project consultancy, interior architecture support, and on-site installation services. During the Cameroon trade forum, participants learned in detail about Asortie’s handcrafted carvings, gold leaf designs, functional solutions that add value to spaces, and our long-lasting production quality.
Prior to the forum, we conducted pre-meetings with potential partners in Cameroon, including showroom tours and project evaluations. With nearly two months of professional market research before our visit, we had already established numerous client connections and held preliminary discussions. After the forum, we continued meetings with our new partners and have started planning upcoming projects.
Strengthening Our Brand Presence in Africa
Following our successful projects in Niger, Senegal, Mauritania, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, South Africa, and other African countries, bringing Asortie’s quality to Cameroon has been a source of pride for us. This trade forum has once again demonstrated the rising demand for luxury furniture across the African continent.
In line with increasing demand, we have accelerated our efforts to take part in hotel and villa projects in various cities in Cameroon, especially Douala and Yaoundé. Investors and project owners in Cameroon find an opportunity to differentiate their projects through Asortie’s bespoke design and production capabilities.
Asortie: The Name of Luxury in Africa
The strong interest we received during the B2B forum at Kristal Palace Hotel is a clear indicator that Asortie is on the right path. As Türkiye’s luxury furniture brand reaching out to the world, Asortie will continue to add value to projects in Cameroon with its quality, design, and reliable production.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the valuable participants and business partners who met with us at the Cameroon trade forum.
